What makes a good pool app?
A good pool care app does three jobs: it captures water values reliably (manually or via sensor), it calculates concrete doses for your pool volume, and it explains in plain language what to do next. Everything else — pretty charts, cloud sync, AI predictions — is a bonus. The single most important selection criterion is target audience: an 8 m³ above-ground pool in the garden is served fine by a free coach app with test strips, while a 40 m³ family pool in permanent use benefits from a sensor. Privacy is the second critical point: if an app requires an account, usage data is almost always collected and shared with ad networks.
